Andrea Guajardo is a Project Manager at LADR and holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Universidad de Monterrey in Mexico and a Master of Science in Transport Planning and the Environment from the University of Leeds in England, earned through the CONACYT Abroad Scholarship. Andrea’s academic work focused on the intersection of environmental science, mobility, and social equity, including a dissertation exploring gender-informed approaches to transportation planning and the ways perceptions of safety affect women’s travel behavior.
Andrea’s professional experience spans more than a decade across Mexico and Canada. She began her career in Nuevo León, where she worked in landscape architecture for five years before transitioning to architectural design in Coahuila, incorporating sustainable design strategies and recycled materials into commercial projects. Since joining LADR in 2021, Andrea has contributed to a wide range of projects including multi-family residential developments, public spaces, and community-focused landscapes. Her role bridges concept development, detailed design, and project management, ensuring clear coordination among clients, consultants, and construction teams.
Andrea is particularly interested in how urban and landscape design can support more inclusive, connected, and resilient communities. She brings a focus on accessibility, social cohesion, and ecological integrity to her work, advocating for landscapes that foster belonging and respond thoughtfully to both cultural and environmental contexts.
