Chosen as a winning entry in Winnipeg’s Cool Gardens 2016 international competition, 2° recalls St. Boniface’s historic ties to livestock, and creates a visual representation of the positive steps we can take to reduce emissions related to the industry by walking individuals through three areas: current methods, better practices, and regrowth. The installation reinforces the fact that it will be impossible to keep global temperature increases under 2°C without addressing livestock production. 2° was chosen as a returning installation for Cool Gardens 2017.
