Nicola has been an integral part of LADR’s management team for over a 16 years. In addition to day-to-day operations, she is responsible for coordinating proposals and business development, preparing cost estimates, and assisting with public facilitation, presentation production, and CAD work.

Nicola majored in History at the University of Victoria and her studies fueled her commitment to social impact design and design justice. She is particularly interested in creating equitable spaces and the role designers can play in acknowledging history, aiding healing opportunities, participating in reconciliation initiatives, and amplifying the voices of frequently invisibilized communities.
