Olivia obtained her Masters of Landscape Architecture from UBC-SALA in 2018 and holds a Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Community Development from Royal Roads University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Victoria and has background and education in Community and Regional Planning at UC Berkeley, Permaculture, and graphic and written communication.
Born and raised in Victoria, Olivia’s varied experience contributes to her interest in fostering a sense of place and wellbeing and she engages interdisciplinary collaboration and landscape architecture as tools for enhancing the human experience within our communities. She values the integration of ecologically sensitive approaches to mitigate the impacts of climate change, and is especially interested in design that considers social engagement, cultural development, and the reconnection of users to the natural environment.
Olivia is the primary Landscape Designer for a range of projects including The Wedge, an acclaimed residential tower recognized with a Golden Nugget Award at the 2020 Pacific Coast Builders Conference.
