Sean has twelve years of experience in urban design, large scale infrastructure projects, stormwater management, parks, and open space design. Originally from New Zealand, Sean worked as a Landscape Architect for three years before moving to Ottawa, where he spent eight years as a Project Coordinator/Manager. Sean joined the LADR Landscape Architect family in 2019 and has quickly become an integral part of the design team. His extensive experience allows him to work on any phase of the design process from hand sketch conceptualization through to implementation and administration of build work. Sean prides himself on his problem-solving capabilities and real-world solutions while maintaining the overall project vision.

Sean is passionate about sustainable design and utilizing native, climate-adaptive principles to achieve site-specific solutions. Equally, he likes to weave in fun and playful elements making each design unique to create a sense of place and destination for the surrounding community.

Sean is Project Manager for multiple LADR projects including the Macaulay Point Pump Station and Cowichan Hospice.
